It's me. I wonder. I hope. I dream. I have FAITH.

Simply Plain

I’ve been thinking things over… It has been five years. It’s fast phase and its working. However, I always have that moment every year asking myself if this is what I really wanted. It’s plain, simple but full of love…. No complications.

What should I do? Choose to stay and wait for answers or let go and see what the future brings? It’s hard to take the risk.

There are a lot of things going on right now. It seems problems are all over the place. Uncertainties worries me and change stresses me, and even everyday office lunch bothers me.

In my own crazy world, everything seems so important and bleak at the moment. I worry about my family and their future, my career, my corporate life, my relationships, and even what to eat at lunch everyday in the office. As funny and complicated as it may seem, I know it’s just me. It is I who thinks too much and makes my life so complicated. I give too much attention to everything. I lost my track.

So upon relaxing today a midst all the chaos (including the bad weather), I browse the net and saw all these wonderful things that inspired me.

http://yowayowacamera.com/

A crazy and beautiful work of art by Natsumi Hayashi. Her pictures makes me realize of new opportunities, and makes me wonder on the stories behind all her different photos. It’s like she’s doing her own thing without hesitating. Warning: Some pics are a bit creepy but still think of it as art. I still like her! An inspiration for photography. Visit her photo blogs: http://yowayowacamera.com/

So I went to my fave mag site and saw this article from Ms.Trixie Reyna, entitled What are you grateful for? As she started, We complain about so many things. But, did you ever stop to look at how everything got better every time?” I like how she simply reminded the readers of looking at the blessings or good things around us and how she shared some of her gratitude list. To read about it: cosmo.ph/cosmo-community/editors-blog/what-are-you-grateful-for/

Upon browsing www.cosmo.ph, I also saw their Better You column about making your space more comfy and cute (for me) by CJ De los Santos. It’s actually for students but still inspires me for room re-invention.

The furniture and decorations are from Heima. As they described it, it’s a local home and lifestyle design company. I haven’t visited their stores yet but I’m planning to do it once I got the chance, and the moolah. Anyway, I actually first encountered its designs through Tricia Gosingtian’s blog: triciawillgoplaces.tumblr.com/post/2370355932/heimaforbayolaunch, and from my another fave mag, Meg, when they featured Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee for their Feb 2011 ish.  The designs were girly and vintage. How I imagine to have it in my own room.

Well, after a long time of no blog post, here it is. I’m still deeply inspired because these materials were used by Him to speak to me of how beautiful and colorful life is. It’s still all about Him. =)

Goal: Operation Getting Back on Track continues… ;-P

We had a lunch date after church. We went to SM and enjoyed lunch at Burgoo. I’m missing their nachos. =)

Romantic Dress up

Here is something I found from ASOS. It definitely defines the type of clothing I want the most. It’s by emilyprincess.

It’s romantic, sweet, feminine, elegant and inspiring. I would like to wear it on a formal-cocktail date or a meeting with the executives (just dreaming big and positive), I’ll just add a soft pink or white blazer and voila! Talking about serious business in red peep toes. =)

Wear Read for Japan

I’m an a fan of Chictopia and I wanted to participate in their “Japan Earthquake Wear Read Wear Hope Campaign”.

I decided to wear my old red lace nautical top, my red vintage gold buckled belt from my mom, my navy blue wide leg trousers, gray Liz Claiborne bag, and my gray round toe heels. I love the nautical feeling of the whole outfit.

I love these gray heels that I got online. However, it’s loose on me. I think it fits better on size 8. So, not to waste time and instead of keeping it, I’ll sell it in my online shop. Watch out for it. =)

So, thinking of my next photo theme, I saw my fave church mate Sy and asked her for a photo with me since we have the same nautical motif for the day.  I love the stripes and polka dots on her! My fave prints.

I also asked my godson, Kurt for photos since we have the same color for the day.

We all had fun with the photo shoot. I got to chat with Sy and eat merienda with Kurt.

This is a fun picture with Jen and I love her gray skirt.

All these won’t be possible without the help of Paul for taking my pics with Kurt, and Ken for helping us out. Also with Sheng for my photos with Sy and Jen. Lovely pics! I wonder if we’ll laugh about these pictures when we all grow older.

I still can’t get over of Sy’s high fashion sense and for choosing her lovely outfit. She’s like a princess.

Let’s pray for Japan’s full recovery and please like our pics in Chictopia: http://bit.ly/iUanmP

Thanks! =)

A Fairy Tale

These photos feed are imagination that sometimes fairy tales seem or really do come true…

…Or at least to people like them. Best wishes to the newly wed, Prince William & Kate.

…and hopefully, like all fairy tales, they will live happily ever after. =)

Since vivid lipsticks are on trend right now, I chose to try it by using Careline in Cotton Candy. It’s only P90+ something (very affordable), and it really last long for me compared to other branded lipsticks.

It’s fun trying something than my usual color preference and it surely brightens up my mood. ;-)

Blast from the Past (Liúxīng Huāyuán)

Zhou Yu Min

Remember this good looking guy? Looks familiar? It’s the lovely Vic Zhou. He was part of the former group F4 (Taiwan), and now known as JVKV. JVKV is still composed of the same group of people from the hit TV series, Meteor Garden (Liúxīng Huāyuán).

Yan Cheng Xu

The childish team leader of the group was Jerry Yan (based from the show). The bad guy but very romantic at heart.

Wu Jian Hao

Vanness Wu, the most buff and the cool type. He was actually my first crush among them since everyone is liking Dao Ming Si and Hua Tze Lei way back then.

Zhu Xiao Tian

Ken Zhu, the pretty boy and the womanizer. He’s character doesn’t commit in any serious relationship.

Xu Xi Yuan (Da S)

Lastly, who can forget the ever strong Barbie Xu as San Chai. The flower among the thorns.

My descriptions of them were actually just based on the Meteor Garden series. I don’t know them personally (how I wish I do?!) so I can’t give their accurate personality type. I wonder what keeps them busy right now and how are they doing.

These people are very memorable for me. They inspired me before and they will always be part of my history. I was so hooked. Well, those were the days… =)

I’m miss them. This is my colleague’s fault for singing Qing Fei De Yi (the show’s opening song) yesterday.

Yesterday was Easter and this is a late blog post. Hehe. However, I would like to share the special blessing and message we must get every wonderful morning God is continuously giving us and the real meaning of our celebration.

We are Free from sin’s slavery

For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin- because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.

Romans 6:6-7 NIV

He died so we can live.

He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Romans 4:25

New Start. New Hope.

Just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

Romans 6:4

So it’s more than just a happy ending for all of us. We are saved, freed, and renewed. A new beginning and a very beautiful reminder. There’s hope for all of us.
